Our Story

Lucero Kline, Inc., located in the heart of Sonoma County CA wine country, was born in 2016 out of a desire to give people a trusted “one-stop-shop” when they were buying or selling a home in need of renovating.

Grace Lucero launched her career in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s helping some of Hollywood's biggest names find and rehab their homes. She became a general contractor in 1996 and began renovating and developing houses – over 160 so far. In 1998, Grace expanded her love of the field and obtained her real estate license and quickly launched her career selling homes. After moving to Sonoma County in 2002, she continued to renovate homes with her business partners while busy becoming a top-producing real estate agent. In 2013 Grace formed The Lucero Group, Inc., a team of real estate professionals.

Knowing that Grace was a General Contractor, her real estate clients frequently requested that she personally oversee their renovation project. After overseeing one project for a client, she quickly realized she didn’t have the bandwidth to manage construction projects and sell real estate.

Meanwhile, Bonnie Kline was working for a local General Contractor as project manager and

managing the day-to-day operations since 2012.

Joining forces was the natural thing to do. They could offer clients the help they needed at every step in the process preparing a house for market or renovating the house they had just purchased. So, in 2016 Bonnie & Grace founded Lucero Kline, Inc., where Bonnie runs the day-to-day operations and construction sites. She prides herself in consistent communication and transparency, and getting creative to help her clients manage their construction budget.

In 2023, Han Martin and Zak O’rear joined the family and brought decades of fine-tuned building experience.

With an extended team of designers and draftsmen, the entire Lucero Kline team can help clients realize their vision from start to finish.

Today, for their real estate and non-real estate clients alike, whether they are building from the ground up or remodeling a home, Lucero Kline gives every project the same level of care and attention to every detail to make the process as smooth and easy for their clients as possible.

Everything we do, throughout all phases of construction, has to do with giving our clients the best possible experience while realizing their vision crafted into reality. We have found that the only way to do this is to build strong relationships with everyone on the team. Clients, General Contractor, Architect, Designers, Subcontractors, and Vendors must all work together in unison to make this happen. We have a long history with our team, and to remain part of the team, we must ALL honor this belief that integrity, honesty, and working together will deliver an ideal experience and outcome for everyone involved. Enjoying the process is key to serving our clients’ needs and to delivering a home that our clients can enjoy for years to come.
